Hi guys! I was just wondering if anyone out there has ever seen any of the Seger tribute bands that are out there? I live in Ohio and this Friday there will be a free concert in Akron with the main act being The System....a Seger tribute band. Of course no one can compare to the REAL DEAL, but I just sort of wonder if they are at least worth seeing? I guess for free it's hard to go wrong, but I know a place that gives free prostate exams too...doesn't mean they're good or fun, just free...so I guess ya never know! HaHa!

So if you've ever seen The System or any of the others, what do you think? Worth the trip?

Back in the mid 80's there was a Seger tribute band that played in B-more at a club called Maxwells'. Had to work that night, don't remember their name but the next night a bartender told me they were
all from Michigan & Ohio and Rcked out the joint. Wish I had gone, I got laid off the next week...
