There were several little surprises... DD, were you at the same concert? Sure doesn't sound like it!
Still the Same was great! I got to see it both times!
Didn't do Answer's in the Question.
Did Good For Me.
Filmed the audience on Main Floor with a hand held camera as part of and in the crowd.
Extra long R&R Never Forgets, and other songs.
Didn't do the Midwest part of Katmandu (Darlene's astute "catch" from prior concerts).
Opened with Roll Me Away, where at the Joe, opened with Nutbush. Nutbush was worked into the set later.
From our seats, Shelly and I could see what the video would turn out like because we could see all the monitors. I'm sure plenty of editing will be done, but we could see how it will turn out eventually (angles, close ups, etc.)
Seats at Cobo have been fully halved in size since I was last there about 20 years ago. They have also made the rows MUCH closer together (hard to dance). It couldn't POSSIBLY be that I don't have my 23 year old body anymore... I KNOW they shrunk the seats (didn't help to have 2 big guys on either side).

Cobo is STILL as steep as ever! This, however, makes for closer seats, even up high. Compared to the Palace or even JLA, Cobo seems TINY when it used to be the biggest arena in the area. I liked it... more intimate, no bad seats. Having not been there in like 20 years, it was a treat to return.
Sound, to me, was impeccable. The band was RIGHT ON every single note. The girls were terrific.
Guy at the T-shirt place said that they only sold SIX Cracker T-shirts! LOL! His mom probably bought them.

Crowd: My immediate section was full of half dead's. Most only stood up for the encores in my immediate area, but the rest of the arena rocked. I, of course, only sat down for "We've Got Tonite" and "Wait for Me".
Kid showed up and the place went wild. RMB was his only cameo, but I kind of thought he might come out for a little back up on other songs, being the last show. Glad he didn't. Not a fan.
Ovation after TTP was exceptionally long. We just wouldn't stop cheering after that one. As is customary, Detroit belted it out in great form as Bob smiled his way through the song (and all others). I think he must really find it rewarding to see so many people singing in perfect unison, especially to this masterpiece.
Alto, hottie that he is, treated us girls to a fully open shirt at the end of the night.

The little monkey must have been REALLY hot!

He was his usual showman self, climbing, jumping, dancing, etc. Fun to watch, as always!
Came home to find Shelly had called my voicemail 12 times for snippets of my favorites and TTP was included. We sounded GREAT!!!

(We were about 5 people apart... the guys on my side refused to move down even one seat each). I decided to make them pay for it and got up 2 times to make them suffer. They were "sitters", so it was an annoyance for them! OK... I'm naughty, but my voice is shot and I really NEEDED water!

But they could have been a little nicer to just move one seat over so Shelly and I could have just had an aisle between us.
Was just a TINY BIT deflated at the end because it was kind of an unceremonious departure from the tour. He did a longer R&RNF, but no words that will be remembered in 30 years like various things on LB. I kept expecting some tidbit for the history books, but it really didn't come.
All in all, however, AWESOME!

PS: Why would Don Brewer do "American Band"???? This was not a GFR concert. I wouldn't expect a GFR song any more than I would expect a Little Feat or Kid Rock song at a Seger & SBB concert.
