ESPNZone at NYNY (across the street from MGM) seems to be the closest place outside of the MGM.

I just called, they do NOT take reservations. Dinner entrees $9.95 and up. Hours are 11am-Midnight on Saturday.

Should we meet early (give food time to digest before all that dancing?) or right before the concert?

1 person already said 6-6;30, do I hear any other times?

we'll try to get there as well. Parking there cause its a pain to get out the mgm parking garage after big events. Trust me I work there and because of my job, they keep us (segregatted from the general employees) have to park in the public lot.

Stuffy nose and sore throat.... so far, no tummy problems or fever, which is good. Still, she feels miserable. No work today or tomorrow.

Actually i live in S.W. (215/ rainbow) and have only been here for 5 years.

also, people would freak out because i would drive around bonanza & J street. i told them it was NOT as bad as Hamilton & Easton in Detroit -- no plastic revolving turnstyles in the fast food places

Well since Friday is my b-day and I used a personal day for Saturday. I might as well go and see Bob in Sin City!!! The great seat my company got me is worth it too lmao. Well it's 0234 and my flight leaves Cleveland at 1040 so it's beauty sleep for me then some blackjack and of course Seger. 3 days in Vegas, hmmmm what kind of damage can I do? Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't you the one who said that seeing Bob wasn't worth your time if he was going to "water down" the songs and then cancelled for more than one show in protest?

PS: Does the Marriott corporation REALLY allow you to expense gaming, shows, etc.? WOW! Glad I don't own shares in THEIR stock, if they do! Seems incredibly irresponsible in a fiscal sense.

You must get some oregano oil!!! I'm tellin ya it works! It will kill all virus', bacteria and fugus, ya that's gross...but it works....it's really awfull to get down, but you just put a couple drops in a very small amout of water and get it down...do this every couple hours, and even gargle with it...I swear by it and take it everywhere, esp. when flying cause of all the crap in the air on planes....just want you better! I get it here at a health food store.......
Oh another trick, hot epsom salt bath and a hot toddy! (whiskey, brown sugar and butter and heat up, then drink while in tub)

Oh I can't sit still...

Saw the Virgin Atlantic plane land on my way to pick up child from school. That red & white behemoth certainly stands out on the runway! Drove all around the back areas of the MGM about 3pm, but didn't see any black FTP semi's. Maybe they're still stuck in LA-LV traffic on I-15!

Just got back from Target. Spent some $ and bought a combination binoculars/camera outfit. For some strange reason, it wasn't in the electronics dept, but rather sporting goods with the tents & fishing stuff!

Oh and black pants to go with the black Pine Knob shirt. I'll try it on tomorrow AM to see how it fits. Lets hope Darlene was right about patio chairs

I just can't sit still. Am now watching the Red Wings play Chicago.. Nicky Lindstrom just got his 200th goal! Plus I can breathe again so I am PSYCHED

I would call you during the concert, but my plan doesn't include Canada. Idiots. They say Canada is an "international" call. I tell them Fiji or Uzbekistan could be construed as international, Canada isn't. If I can sing the national anthem to a country, I should be able to call it as part of my plan

Samper wants a call during TTP. She's warning me if I don't call, I don't get picked up @ the airport on the 17th. Guess she's getting a call

This will be one of the longest 1 day, 0 hours, 45 minutes (89,100 seconds, 1485 minutes, 24 hours ) in my life... plus i have to sit thru my son's flag football game tomorrow @ noon. that's probably a good thing, keep my mind off of the evening.

It doesn't matter what the stock price is. It is grossly irresponsible to pay for partying "management" who apparently doesn't even work there anymore. Maybe the stock price would be $320.24 if they weren't spending all the cash on sending you to concerts.

Let me see if I have this straight: You accepted a "buyout", which means they are paying you to not work for them anymore. AND, they have you on an expense account and they are getting you tickets to see Bob Seger? How screwed up is THAT? I've lost ALL respect for the Marriott Corporation. Maybe you should read a bit more slowly.........I received a "buyout" from the Cuyahoga County Sheriffs Office after 20 years of loyal service. In other words I receive a pension as in retirement. Which means I receive 72% of my 3 highest years in anual wages. I'm too young for full retirement, waiting for a paycheck once a month can drive a person crazy. And my lifestyle as it is today I can still work and enjoy my toys. So yes I am employed by a Marriott franchisee aka DBA Boykin Lodging Inc. They do take care of their management people very well. I planned on not working at all after turming 50. That won't happen until March 2, 2008. So I have a little over 360 days to decide my future then. Flew in Saturday morning with a huge hangover from my b-day party Saturday night. So when I checked in to the Marriott Las Vegas Resort. I crashed for about 3 hours then hit the strip to help infuse the Vegas economy. Saw BSatSBB crashed for about 4 hours. Then hit the strip before flying back late Sunday afternoon. What a foggy 3 days it was. Well worth it I must say!

By the way, the 52 weekk range for Marriott Corporation stock is 46.43 - 47.20. No wheres near $120.24.

While you all were having fun.. my husband and I were lost down below the MGM Grand parking structure... our elevator malfunctioned and we got stuck in the bowels of the parking lot! It was a nightmare but we eventually made our way out to freedom and the concert! LOL!

You'd think hiding them would be quite a challenge. Maybe they unloaded and removed them from the lot so Azar's semi's could be ready to load back up when they were done. Is there limited parking near the loading dock of the MGM?

there are about 2 loading area's that i could see,

the one closest to the mgm grand garden ARENA (where Bob played) just had the azar stuff...

the loading docks to the hollywood theater (where tom jones was) was probably next to it... nothing parked out there...

Hiding Bob's trucks from me was not a good idea !

i usually can spot michigan license plates a mile away (except I saw a white one w/green trees at the top today - what's up with that?) ... but not this past weekend!

We have a zillion "specialty" plates here, could be one of those, but even here, I haven't seen one.

I like the Mac Bridge ones, but Greg got the standard blue/white for my car. He has NO sense of adventure when it comes to plates.
