 Any Word on a 2009 Tour? |

Anyone hear anything more about a possible tour this year? I thiink I heard something about a possible tour on Sirius Satelite radio, however, they could've been talking about another band, they just talked about a possible tour of someone right after they finished playing a Seger song, so it seems likely trhey were talking about Bob. I'm still hoping for a tour this year. It seems very unlikely, but still possible. I hope when he does tour he swings by Ohio, I'd really love to see him live in concert.

Isn't this about the time of year we started hearing about the FTP Tour? There could still be something this year, but my guess is we've seen the last live shows. All we can hope for is a DVD sometime before we die.

Buckeyebobfan, I'm afraid you're probably right. I am positive there will be no show this year, and I commented on why in a post in the general Bob Seger discussion in a thread about his golf game at the Buick Open a few weeks ago.
And every year that goes by, the likelyhood of another tour becomes less. Maybe the best we could hope for would be a single show, or maybe three shows, in the Detroit area. I'll bet that's all he does, but probably not even that. I would just love it if the DVD could be released, but that looks less and less promising too. Just my opinion, and I hope I turn out to be wrong. Mark D. |

Thats too bad, but your right, it seems very unlikely he'll do a show this year. I wonder why they don't release a DVD. Your probably right though, he'll probably just do a few shows in the Detroit area, luckily thats not to far for me, if that. Is there any chance he might do a show in 2010?

Haven't heard of any tour, but there is supposed to be a DVD. It may be a Meijer exclusive, but it is supposed to hit the day after Thanksgiving.

Thanks Ken. Now I know where the name Meijer comes from, but it still doesn't help that post make sense to me. How a grocery store chain combines with Bob Seger to make a... Oh, I get it... Meijer the exclusive seller of this DVD!
Well, if that becomes so, then I'll have to travel to Michigan to get myself a copy. I refuse to live without one. Mark D. |

Pretty sure it's a CD, not DVD.
While no tour has been announced, there is a ton of stuff on bobseger.com about ticket purchasing. Why put all that info up if there wasn't a tour? |
